Dear Birthmother,
We are Johnny and Rachael. First, we want you to know how much we respect the decision you are making in your life right now. We realize how difficult this is for you and how much thought and sacrifice you have put into this decision. We hope that we can help you get to know us a little better through this letter.
We met in our junior year of high school and dated for three years. We have been married now for 17 years. Johnny is a welder/mechanic and I am a Registered Nurse. We love being outdoors and spending time together. We live in a country setting, but still within city limits with a very large yard.
We had a plan for our lives when we first married, but sometimes our plan isn’t God’s plan. So we believe that God has a bigger and better plan. Since early in our marriage we have had a desire to have children but, due to miscarriages and two ectopic pregnancies which ruptured both fallopian tubes we have not been able to have children.
Adoption gives us the chance to become the parents we have always wanted to be. Our desire to have a child has not changed throughout our years together, but grown stronger. We still desire very much to have a little one to love. We will provide a secure, stable home and give unconditional love.
